This week’s update at a glance

  • Rotation, not exit. Tech and semis wobbled, but the broader market held up. That is capital moving, not capital fleeing.
  • Materials are taking control. Leadership is clearly shifting toward resources, particularly in the small cap end of the market.
  • Precious metals are back in focus. Gold remains strong and silver has broken out, which is often a sign the bull phase is maturing.
  • Momentum rules. You do not need more opinions. You need a repeatable way to follow where the money is actually flowing.

What you’ll learn

  • How to tell when a selloff is sector specific versus market wide.
  • Why the equal weight and small cap signals matter when headlines look noisy.
  • What the charts are saying about materials, emerging companies, and precious metals.
  • A simple way to position for rotation while keeping risk contained.

The thinking shift (in plain English)

Most investors lose money in rotations for one reason: they keep debating narratives while price and money flow have already moved on. My job is not to predict. My job is to follow leadership early, manage risk, and stay with momentum while it is intact.

What history shows (with important caveats)

When leadership broadens beyond a handful of mega caps, markets can stay constructive even while the old winners cool off. That is not a guarantee. It is context. The edge comes from selectivity and risk management, not hope.

Where I’m focused now

  • Materials leadership: Strength is clear, and the breakout behaviour is hard to ignore.
  • Small caps and emerging companies: Momentum is improving and participation is widening.
  • Precious and critical metals: Gold, silver, and selected critical metals are attracting serious capital.
  • Tech and semis: Watch for stabilisation. If this remains a rotation, leadership may return later, but I want the charts to confirm it.
